The Pursuit Of Happyness

Hello light & to all the lovely people out there. Yesterday, i watched "The Pursuit Of Happyness." Will smith and his son acted really well. The character Chris Gardner played by Will smith is a man filled with alot of confidence, hope and faith even though he struggled to sell all of his "time machines" hahaha! (you will know why i said that, when you watched the movie) to feed his son and to be able to survive in this terrible finanical state that he was in.

I ask you, how would you feel, when the government takes out your $600 from your account just because you didn't pay the taxes, leaving only $21 in your account, have a son to feed, you are living in a rented apartment that you haven't paid 3 months rent fee & the landlord is bugging you to leave? Moving from shelter to shelter. TERRIBLE,DESPERATE & HELPLESS! that's how you would feel. While watching the movie, I could feel for the character.

Although, i didn't like Chris's wife. She's just selfish and not being supportive at all. Yes i can see that she is struggling but can't she understand that Chris t00 is trying his best to get as much money as he can. There is a saying "Behind every man's success there is a woman." In this case, i deny it totally. Overall, smith gave a solid performance including his son (Jaden smith is so adorable, he looks just like his mom). I particularly loved two scenes in that movie.

One was when Smith locked the toilet door, so that he and is son could sleep in the toilet after being chased out of the motel for not paying the rent. The way his son sleeps on his lap so innocently while he cries silently. The other scene was when his boss announced to him that he could start working as a stockbroker after 6 painful months of internship without getting paid plus personal struggle. The joy that he displayed on his face when heard that he made it finally and the way he ran to the place where they cant spell "happiness" correctly, carried his son and hugged him so tightly. The expression and body language Smith displayed is just so over whelming. Good job Smith. The real Chris Gardner has his very own million dollar company under his control, 2006. Utterly amazing! I wonder why did Thomas Jefferson said The pursuit of happiness so many times? I know the answer! Happiness just do not come easily. You have to earn it to know the value of happiness. That is why the very rich do not what is the value of a $1!

I then came to a conclusion, that a man like Chris have gone through so much just to achieve that same happiness, i don't see why all of us can't.Have trust in yourself. Everyone of you out there please just because your boyfriend dumped you or your mom just scolded you that you are useless bastard, it doesn't mean that you have to come to a conclusion that it is pointless to be alive. Because if you want something go for it never drop it just because some morons say that you are useless and a waste. No point going to the extend of committing suicide, cuz if you did, you have just lost out a lot of things. Be hopeful and never give up!

I know myself that i want to live so that when i achieve my dream i want to feel that same "Pursuit Of happyness" just like Chris did! Ok that's all for now! Nites.
